The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs: Testing

  • fakestevejobs · 1 year ago
Also you can put a photo with your comment ID, which is cool. Plus this format allows for more debates that spring off from a single branch. Nice stuff. Much love to Disqus.

I've been seeing this on an increasing number of sites. I like it so far... it's useful to be able to track comments.
  • realfrank · 1 year ago
    Loving the threaded reply style.
  • Fofer · 1 year ago
    Yeah, me too.

  • jamiequint · 1 year ago
    cool! I like, I like.
  • bobdmac · 1 year ago
This makes it much easier to keep track of the commentards, including the geographytards, historytards, politicstards, languagetards, lyrictards, sportstards, and satiretiretards (like me)

This is Hot...another DisQus site.....These Disqus sites are few and far between, but the stupid thing is catching on....Way better than blogger....

  • vladimir_putin · 1 year ago
    Is looking ok on iPhone.
  • andy · 1 year ago
    seems to work.
  • jason · 1 year ago
Dig it - though the necessity to create ANOTHER account for something is somewhat irritating.
  • Daniel Ha · 1 year ago
    Hi!
  • Walt · 1 year ago

  • Smoiniye · 1 year ago
Easy to use, simple navigation and lots of features. I like it. Reminds me of a Porsche 924.
  • Mikemac · 1 year ago
    I love FSJ
  • Horatio Vulgar · 1 year ago
I suppose this Disqtard thing will auto-dump comments about Hannah Montana. Besides, what part of "anonymous" don't you understand? I don't wanna give up no stinkin' email address!
  • Vishal Abru · 1 year ago
Dude, this comment system is so amazing!
  • Byron · 1 year ago
    LAME
  • Richard Price · 1 year ago
    disqus is really awesome.
  • PXLated · 1 year ago
As long as I don't have to register, don't have to go to a different site I don't really care. But, with a system like this, who owns the comments, you or them?

PS: Was afraid of that..it's either annonymous or register. Ain't going to happen.
  • Daniel Ha · 1 year ago
Good question -- the blog does.
  • PXLated · 1 year ago
    Hmmmm...Guess Not.
  • lastangelman · 1 year ago
    Who invented this?
  • lastangelman · 1 year ago
Augh! I have to set up an account ... OK, that was relatively painless. Let's try this. 'twouldn't be fun to blog anymore if one couldn't link.
  • lastangelman · 1 year ago
Great that works. Let me try <size=7><color=green>this</size></color>.
  • Daniel Ha · 1 year ago
Supported HTML is currently limited to the basics. Otherwise some things may get out of hand. ;)
  • lastangelman · 1 year ago
Yeah, I know what you're saying, yet, the artist within feels encroached or impinged, still, there ought to be a preview feature.
  • lastangelman · 1 year ago
Hmmm, still limiting size and color. It would be nice to have a preview feature before one commits to post.
Oh well beggars can't be choosers.
They can be cutthroats, highwaymen, pickpockets and robbers, not to mention the occasional evil clown.

Disqus seem to be better than haldol torture.
  • spinacho · 1 year ago
can you please explain the difference between 5 points and 8 hours
  • Muddy · 1 year ago
To be honest, i don't care as long as it works properly. It did in the past, and it seems to do now, looks fancy too. So it's a bit like Leopard. Not really better than Tiger, just a bit more fancyness added.

So you're pretty consistent Stevieboy ;)
  • jaggyg · 1 year ago
    nice.
  • jlward4th · 1 year ago
Cool. Is there any way to be notified when new comments are posted to a thread?
  • Toki_chan · 1 year ago
I had an account and didn't even know it... I think that might be the sign that I spend way to much time on the internet...

    I like it though
  • ColoradoCary · 1 year ago
    I like it.
  • no-one · 1 year ago
    who really cares ?
  • Archie_Medes · 1 year ago

  • GmanMac · 1 year ago
    What's to discuss?
  • Sasnak · 1 year ago
    Dude. Sweet.
  • hitman · 1 year ago
Too bad it doesn't support OpenID login (yet), so that's one thing I miss from the Blogger comments. You hear that, Disqus guys?
  • eknirb · 1 year ago
Not a fan. and HOW do you edit the avatar image?
  • Bono · 1 year ago
    Feckin like it.
  • josedante · 1 year ago
So far I'm liking it a lot.
  • Commentard · 1 year ago

  • faddah · 1 year ago
bobdmac - you forgot our all-time-favorite: ohio gun nut-tards.
  • bobdmac · 1 year ago
Damn, faddah you're right!. How could I have forgotten them? Maybe it's because they were sort of a flash in the pan and didn't have the staying power of the other 'tards.
